Search Tips to Find a Property on MyOrangeCountyNC

You can locate an Orange County property account by searching with any of the following criteria:
Bill/Parcel Number
- Enter the first 10-digits of your bill number
- Enter your Parcel Identification Number (PIN) as it appears on your bill
Property/Mailing Address
- Use this format: Street Number, Directional Prefix, Street Name, Street Type, Directional Suffix (e.g., 123 SMITH BERRY RD APT G3)
- Do not include directions (North, South, East, West, etc.) in the street name
- Do not include words or abbreviations like Drive, Court, Pl, Ave or Street
- If you don’t find your property, try entering only the first few characters or the first word of the street name
Individual/Business Name
- Enter your name or business name exactly as it appears on the bill
- If your name is commonly shortened, trying searching with your full name (for example, Mike may need to be entered as Michael)
